Matthias Pilsl is an emerging German painter who has exhibited his work in Germany and Japan. Fascinated by the intersection of painting and music, he seeks to investigate the gaps between these disciplines and discover new starting points for further development. He primarily explores the differences and similarities between external and internal perception in his work, documenting inner experiences of the outside world by combining realistic landscape imagery with childlike drawings layered on top.
