Maurizio Sergiusti is an Italy-based painter and sculptor whose works have been exhibited nationally and internationally, in over 20 countries including France, Switzerland, Austria, Saudi Arabia, Armenia to name a few. An environmental defender, he describes his compositions as centered on the philosophy of recycling. As such, Sergiusti often incorporates found materials into his artistic process. He mainly uses objects abandoned in the environment or no longer usable with which he makes skilful collages on metal or wooden supports, creating one-of-a-kind works of art.
