Mauro Romano

Mauro Romano is a painter and photographer based in Italy whose works have been exhibited nationally. He describes his artistic expression and pictorial research as arising from "an inner scream as a need for urgent expression, an instinct that touches the absence of rules to seek a wild relationship with shape and color". Romano fuses instinctual painting with contents that evolve from archaic spirituality towards metaphysical and surreal subjects.
