Melissa A. Cromwell is an American ceramic artist and designer who founded her own studio in 2018 after ten years of working with Jonathan Alder in New York. After a decade of honing her skills in design, production, and hands-on ceramic techniques, she describes her artistic practice as being meditative and intuitive. In her creative process, Cromwell favors clay and stoneware for its strength and diverse glaze options.
