Adept in painting, photography, printmaking, and digital art, Michael Voelkl draws inspiration from his father's pencil sketches. Adopting digital layering on archival watercolor paper & canvas, his visual compositions emanate with a unique montage quality, honing the vivid colors, shapes, and textures of natural landscapes. His work embodies a serene gesture, translating Voelkl's longing for inner peace and unity with the ever-changing beauty of the natural world.
