Minna George is an artist based in the United Kingdom who has exhibited her paintings both nationally and in Kuwait. The mainstay of her artistic approach is experimentation, translated through a multi-layering of thin and almost transparent layers of color. George achieves intensity in her pieces by the addition and removal of layers, producing rhythm, and engaging visual depth. She fabricates her own paints from pigments and creates using natural materials, gold leaf, and raw pigments.
