Monika Morito is a Philippino artist based in Germany whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in France. Through her works, she endeavors to awaken viewers' longings and inner calm via her connection to the sea and sun. In her artistic process, Morito combines abstract forms with stylized and textural objects. She places importance on marking the contrasts between smooth and rough surfaces and creates with varied materials.
