Morgan Paslier
France
Morgan Paslier, a versatile French artist, uses painting, photography and digital technology, while having an academic background in fine arts. Passionate about matter and textures, he photographs the minute details of the materials encountered, digitizes them, then integrates them into multi-layered digital montages, often as a background for stencil portraits. His artistic works arouse a curious fascination for detail and the autonomy of the material, providing a reflection on the purpose of the image and visual identity.
