Muriel Chazalon primarily uses oil painting and engraving techniques, enriched by training at the École du Louvre. Her figurative style, influenced by the Nabis movement, combines offbeat colors and free gestures on canvas or panels; her engravings, etching, aquatint or linocut, celebrate the spontaneity of the line. Her intimate work, centered on nature, conveys the vivacity, fragility and poetry of the living, inviting us to feel wonder and respect before her landscapes where trees and water become almost abstract.
