« If I feel emotion, joy or sadness, nostalgia, nerves, or restlessness, I just have to look inside or around me. The images are there ... It is time to paint. »
Nacho Quiroga feels that painting is akin to music, in that it communicates with the heart. The Argentinian painter and photographer challenges himself to transmit something good or pleasant in his works, while also acknowledging the negative. Quiroga approaches artistic creation as a means of expression, and with the aim of conveying a positive message, no matter the subject. His landscapes, still lifes, and figurative pieces are created using oil paints on canvas.
