Nari Ward

Nari Ward, a Jamaican-born American artist, weaves found objects into her paintings to reveal the intricate tapestry of consumer culture, poverty, and race. Her technique, drawing from neighborhood scavengings, creates a poignant dialogue between the viewer and the societal artifacts she repurposes. Her works resonate with a raw, emotive power that challenges and reflects the complexities of urban life.
