Nicholas Ambriz is a painter, photographer, and draughtsman with roots in Mexican and British heritage, drawing on deep personal and cultural influences. He uses vibrant oil paints, sharp black-and-white ink drawings, and striking photographic compositions, skillfully blending Impressionist and abstract techniques inspired by Seurat, Toulouse-Lautrec, and the Golden Triangle theory. His images—often water reflections and floral portraits—employ bold colors, dramatic cropping, and unusual perspectives, evoking the joy and constant transformation of nature and life, while also exploring the tension between man and the natural world.
