Nicholas Perkowski is an oil painter with an Associate of Arts degree, whose journey began in a community college class and has since been shaped by playful, hands-on experimentation. His unorthodox technique radiates energetic color, bold textures, thick paint layers, and a willingness to collage or even cut into the canvas for unexpected effects. Driven by spontaneity and inclusivity, he seeks to create vibrant, engaging works that invite viewers to find their own meaning, conveying flashes of deep, unnameable emotion.
