« I collect impressions from the study of art and everyday life, before attempting to project these at the right moment onto the canvas. »
Nora Hellwig is a promising German painter and draftsman who has participated in exhibitions in her home country. She explores the connection between linear form and colour in their full effects. She allows herself to be guided by emotions as she approaches her canvas, resulting in vibrant works that showcase a painterly quality and inventive takes on shape and shadow.
