Oliver Dillon is an emerging American artist whose works have featured in exhibitions and prizes in the US and Japan. His jumping-off point lies in the connection between quantum theory and human cognition; fascinated by the ways in which our minds create the world around us, he composes paintings full of movement and nuance. Dillon weaves color, space and juxtaposition together to achieve simultaneous senses of comfort and disconcertion, warmth and melancholy.
