« The problem of light is in its being so self-evident that we do not see it; it only becomes marked through its shadow. »
Oto Rimele is a Slovenian artist whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, and the United States. In his artistic process, he endeavors to "dematerialize everything material". Rimele's "sacral minimlaistic" compositions also include objects that are encircled by a colored aura that changes with the natural light, which he refers to as "light catchers". His art invites viewers on a search for inner beauty, which he believes, can lead towards cleansing.
