Padraig McCaul
Ireland
« The continuously changing light and skies, the centuries-old farm buildings, and the winding narrow roads all provide the inspiration for my paintings. »
Padraig McCaul is an artist based in Ireland whose paintings have been exhibited in Australia. His expressive landscapes capture the rawness and essence of western Ireland. Occasionally, McCaul will incorporate semi-abstract figures into his compositions as a reference to his family. He exclusively creates using oils with a single brush and palette knife on canvas.
