« There are months when I feel like an artist, yet there are times when I am full of doubt. This is a natural thing. »
Pak-Keung Wan is a passionate British draftsman whose works have featured prizes, exhibitions and collections across the UK, US, Germany and Portugal. His artistic practice opens out a space for dialogue with the natural world, and each employed material acts as a transitional state through which concerns with time, being, labour and embodiment become tangible. He values the behavioural capacity of drawing, and often considers it as a devotional act. His finished works showcase the importance of line as well as an emphasis on that which is bodily, organic, human.
