Papis Diop

Papis Diop is an artist based in Senegal whose works have been exhibited nationally. He cites art as being the driving force in his life since his early childhood. Through his compositions, he explores themes relating to the particularities in disappearing African traditions, as well as social inequalities and borders. Diop's distinctive pieces are most often created using paints and collage on cardboard supports.
