Patrick Gaillard
France
Patrick Gaillard, originally from Lyon, is distinguished by his large-scale acrylic paintings created in his studio in the South of France. His mixed technique combines the use of a palette knife for contrasting backgrounds and a brush to enhance the gaze of his subjects, primarily wild animals. Between strength and vulnerability, his blue-infused works express a vivid emotion, embodied by the intense gaze, often emanating from animal portraits.
