Peter Hecht is a German sculptor, painter, and draftsman whose compositions have been displayed in Germany, Cameroon, and Pakistan. His compositions combine cultural and historical aspects, symbolism, as well as the character of the animal, in sculptures or pictures. Hecht is inspired by sculptures and petroglyphs from America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. He prefers to work with as few technical aids as possible. The focus of his art is the eyes and hands, which build a connection to the character.
