Philippe Manuel Mercier is an award-winning French sculptor, painter and draftsman who has exhibited nationally as well as in the United Arab Emirates. His works explore themes of movement, kinetics, energy and biomimicry. After experimenting with drawing and writing, he then tried his hand at woodworking. However, it wasn’t until he discovered the medium of free-cutting that he found his way artistically. Mercier’s works are mostly made of marble.
