Qian Michel

Michel Qian, born in Chongqing, China, and currently based in Saigon, Vietnam, enriched by studies at art institutes in Malaysia, works primarily in acrylic and oil on canvas. Inspired by Abstract Expressionism and Impressionism, her work explores emotion, nature, and cultural diversity through vibrant colors and layered textures. Having lived in several countries in Europe and Asia, she draws on a rich palette of intercultural experiences. This international perspective informs her visual language, blending traditional and contemporary influences to create works that are both personal and universal.
