Raffaele Iavarazzo

A self-taught artist, since childhood he has filled notebooks with sketches inspired by anime and manga, driven by an inexhaustible curiosity that becomes his true school. Passion leads him to independently explore digital drawing.
His imagery is born from the encounter between Japanese pop culture and the legacy of great Western masters. From the dreamlike intensity of Dalí and the metaphysical atmospheres of De Chirico he absorbs the sense of suspension, while from Van Gogh he borrows an emotional use of color. The result is a visual research that blends vibrant textures, surreal perspectives and bright palettes, with the aim of combining the dynamism of manga with the symbolic power of classical art.
His creative credo is condensed in a constant promise:
