Ralf Bittner, a painter and photographer, is closely connected to Lake Constance, its impressive surroundings and its ever-surprising light. He experiments with hard surfaces such as plywood and aluminum and uses a variety of paint application techniques. He also loves to take away paint and let the viewer think about the mystery underneath. Bittner's artworks are autonomous objects, they do not tell stories, but are a journey into the realm of colors and shapes, encouraging the viewer to find their own interpretations and awaken their own emotions.
