Reidy Cespedes

Reidy Céspedes is a Cuban painter, draftsman, and visual artist who graduated from the El Alba Academy. He has experience in international exhibitions and murals. He primarily uses acrylic paint, fusing figurative realism with symbolism, creating dreamlike, dark, and immersive atmospheres through chiaroscuro and dramatic contrasts. His work, influenced by fantasy cinema and Gothic literature, explores the symbolic, spiritual, and animal, inviting the viewer on an introspective journey between the wild and the ancestral, provoking emotions of restlessness, mystery, and deep internal reflection.
