Robert Deyber

Robert Deyber was an American painter who deftly wielded surrealism and pop art to illustrate the whimsy of language. Inspired by giants, from the Hudson River School to Warhol, his canvases are a fusion of the archaic and the avant-garde, rendered with a wry sense of humor. His art elicits a visceral amusement, tickling the intellect with visual puns that transform the mundane into the extraordinary.
