« Daring, more daring, always more daring? Through looking at the work of others one ends up becoming oneself... »
Robert Lagob is a self-taught French sculptor who describes his artistic process as the "hijacking of objects" which he transforms into creative illustrations. The future of art, mass consumption, luxury, and globalization are themes he enjoys exploring in order to tell stories.
Lagob's diverse compositions highlight the excesses of modern society, as well as the clash of cultures.
