Robert Steng is a sculptor based in Germany whose works have been widely exhibited nationally, in France, Switzerland, Italy, and Belgium. He describes his art as being primarily concerned with perception. Steng's central aim is to capture the spatial dimension of art. However, the structures and properties of the materials, as well as their relationship with their environment is also integral. By employing discarded material, his work also reflects our consumer society.
