French artist Romain Zeder is an up and coming painter and draftsman. Zeder’s artistic practice is inspired by figurative art and the paintings of Caravaggio, whose dramatic works motivated him to start painting as a teen. Zeder’s work incorporates a variety of mediums such as oil, acrylic and resin on canvas, wood and even synthetic boards. His pieces range from enigmatic still lifes to ordinary scenes made compelling through the use of dense, unusual colors.
