Roxy Paine

Roxy Paine, an American painter and sculptor, melds the mechanical with organic in thought-provoking installations, grounded in her New York and New Mexico education. Her works, like the emblematic 'Dendroids' series, create a symphony of opposition—meticulous craftsmanship turning industrial materials into lifelike botanical forms. Through her sculptures, Paine provokes a visceral response, laying bare the tension between human progress and nature’s sovereignty.
