Ruby Wright is a painter, photographer, and digital artist with a lifelong passion for capturing moments and transforming them through mixed media, enriched by her studies in photography, art history, and Africana Studies. Her techniques blend abstract and impressionist painting with touches of realism, employing oil, acrylics, inks, collage, digital editing, and more, often using her own photographs as a foundation. She infuses her work with vibrant ethnic figures, whimsical scenes, and the splendor of nature, aiming to evoke imagination, reflection, and an uplifting appreciation for the world’s beauty.
