Ryan Eckert is a painter from a rural Midwest background who employs spray paint, acrylic, oil, and collage with an intuitive, risk-taking approach. He moves fluidly between styles and materials, letting each work dictate its own needs, often returning to motifs like flowers, windows, and celestial bodies. His evocative paintings explore longing, searching, and the discovery of divine love, offering viewers a sense of poetic forgiveness and hope amidst turbulence.
