RYR is an exciting German artist who has exhibited his work nationally. For him, it all started with some white paper and a few pens, which eventually turned into a full-time passion and fruitful career. RYR believes that nothing is more powerful and persistent than storytelling and that the development of civilization is based on this. For him the story of cash is one of these stories. He composes thought-provoking compositions by the use of handmade paper from banknotes. Money is full of narrative connotations and RYR's use of it as a central material allows him to explore a range of societal symbols.
