Ryu_Su
South Korea
Informed by his rural Korean upbringing, Ryu-su primarily channels memories and philosophy onto canvas, employing techniques reminiscent of stained glass artistry. His work, a masterful fusion of symmetric patterns echoing traditional Korean Dancheong and European medieval designs, demands meticulous brushwork and an expansive color palette. His pieces capture the transient beauty of flowers and the cyclicality of life, embodying moments of creation, growth, and fade - a poignant testament to temporal existence.
