Sabine Hey is a German painter who has participated in several solo and group exhibitions on a national level. While there are no specific messages in her figurative pieces, she uses motifs that range in scope and are sometimes a social critique. When Hey takes a picture, she translates the original into her own vision, starting with a drawing. She uses a minimal colour palette, painterly and wide brush strokes in her pieces.
