Sally Ripamonti

Sally Ripamonti is an oil painter with a background in Studio Art and Writing from DePauw University, enriched by her immersion in Rome's Renaissance masterpieces. She employs a style she calls "realism with a twist," featuring thickly applied oils and a penchant for painting small, quirky objects on large canvases, often inserting modern icons into classical works. Her art embraces the unusual and off-kilter, stirring curiosity and nudging viewers delightfully out of their comfort zones.
