Ludovic Sarmento is a photographer, trained at the Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux, having first worked as an artistic director in
advertising agency before devoting himself entirely to photography. He navigates between still life and portraiture, favoring a singular approach, without giving in to aesthetic conventions, and freely adapts his techniques for each work. Through his images, he seeks to provoke strangeness, arrest the gaze and arouse deep emotions that question the viewer.
