Nasernia’s infatuation with calligraphy dates back to his childhood; during his teens he studied the traditional styles of Thuluth and Nastaleeq. He now uses calligraphy as the important starting block of his art, before adding various materials to create complex, captivating representations of order and chaos, beauty and meaning.
