SENA Cifuentes is a self-taught artist who began as a botanical watercolorist and gained international recognition in 1997. Currently, she uses textile collage, oil, pencil, ink, and watercolor, fusing classical techniques with contemporary approaches to create portraits of invented beings and fantastical settings. Her style celebrates fantasy and the connection with nature, and her works feature fish, human faces, reptiles, and insects. Through her art, she conveys a profound emotional exploration of the human subconscious and the natural world, inviting the viewer to dream and reflect.
