Sevil Amini is an Iranian-Italian artist who primarily uses painting, drawing, textile art, and printmaking, and whose multicultural background shapes her work. She combines painting with sewn, layered, and dyed fabrics such as canvas or velvet, creating relief-like, installation-like surfaces; her works overlay fragments of the body with ornamental and architectural forms.
