Shanaka Kulathunga is an award-winning artist based in Sri Lanka whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. Because he enjoys capturing different aesthetic qualities, his distinctive portraits portray the lifestyles and characters of native people in rural areas to fashion models. In his artistic process, Kulathunga follows a traditional approach yet focuses on contemporary themes, designs, and composition. He exclusively creates with oils on canvas.
