Sharon Barfoot is an award-winning painter from Canada who has exhibited in North America, Pakistan and Japan. She has always maintained that good art has a soul. Within her works, she strives to add elements of her soul, as well as impressions of her daily life and local landscapes. Gestural expression and the nature of the medium itself hold importance in the creation of Barfoot’s abstract pieces. She favors the use of oil and acrylic on canvas.
