« Art allows us to lift the filter between what society wants to show us and our own vision, sometimes fantasized, but purely human and real. »
Shokkobo is the moniker of the combined talents of artists based in France whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Portugal and Germany. Through the overarching theme of pop art, they reinterpret imagery from the worlds of design, art, video games or comics, cartoons, or movies. Shokkobo describes their unified style as being colorful, joyful, and visually energetic.
