Siri Wego works with acrylic and mixed media on canvas, often using broad, expressive brushstrokes. The paintings are built up layer by layer with transparent forms and figurative elements, with the human figure often emerging in the foreground. The motifs are frequently composed according to the golden ratio, with deliberately cropped pictorial elements. Wego is a confident colorist. Some paintings are light, richly detailed, and more figurative, while others are marked by powerful brushstrokes, pronounced structures, strong color contrasts, and an almost non-figurative expression.
