Siri Wego works with acrylic and mixed media on canvas. The paintings are built up layer by layer with transparent forms and figurative elements, with the human figure often emerging in the foreground.

Light and symbolism are central to Wego’s artistic practice.

Siri Wego follows her heart and intuition. She invites the viewer into a poetic pictorial universe where symbolic, and expressionist motifs meet. Painting has become a language for experiences and emotions that are difficult to express in words. She simplifies her motifs and directs attention toward a mood or feeling.
