Stacey Warnix is a self-taught painter who works with hand-mixed pigments, inks, translucent washes, and raw textiles, drawing on a creative lineage from her artist grandmother and diverse life experiences. Her lyrical abstract expressionist style revolves around gestural mark-making, layered interventions, and a restrained palette, focusing on intuitive processes and atmospheric color. Her luminous, immersive paintings evoke memory, emotional residue, and the intangible atmosphere of place, inviting viewers into contemplative, open-ended emotional spaces.
