Stan Douglas

Stan Douglas is a photographer and video artist from Vancouver, British Columbia, whose work spans film, video installations, and photography. She masterfully blends historical references, literature, cinema, and music, often utilizing montage and narrative deconstruction to explore the remnants of modernism and outdated technology. Her art brims with a haunting sense of nostalgia and questions the boundaries between reality and fiction, evoking contemplation on social utopias and the complexities of memory.
