« The superiority of the digital world and tools led me to completely rethink my artistic work. »
Stefan Reiss is a German artist whose works have been shown in international exhibitions in Germany, Great Britain, France, Italy and China and for which he has received numerous awards. His artistic approach focuses on the physical experience and transformation of digital signs into analog, haptic elements. Starting from the digital, he forms spatial constructions in drawing, painting and sculpture, which give the virtual signs back a materiality, but which he immediately dissolves himself. He makes use of simple geometric forms such as straight lines, rectangles or triangles.
