Stefanie Raus
Germany
Stefanie Raus works as a freelance artist, using acrylic paints, texture pastes, bitumen, and gold leaf as her preferred media. Her works are characterized by an abstract visual language, complex layering, and an expressive impasto technique. The tactile materiality lends the surfaces movement, depth, and a strong physical presence.
Through the deliberate interplay of structure, surface, and contrasts, captivating compositions with a strong emotional impact are created. The relief-like surfaces open up multifaceted spaces that invite the viewer to pause and allow room for individual perceptions and personal meanings.
Stefanie Raus's works are held in private collections in Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland, the Czech Republic, the USA, and Dubai, underscoring her international presence.
