I am an emotive creator who blends painting, poetry, emotion and shared experiences in various mediums, with a backbone of harnessing the deep rooted desire to pave a path for the future, for my daughter, just like my ancestors did for me.
Using a contemporary urban pop art style, I weave notable depth and texture through acrylics, chalk, oil pastels and spray paint, amid my own poetry and phrases.
I hope my paintings awaken profound emotions, unravelling layers of personal experiences, societal narratives, and ancestral legacies about resilient women, transmitting the poignant message of authenticity, light and love even in darkness and darkest of times.
My aim or mission is an internal desire to create something outside of myself, something of purpose and significance, that connects with the viewer in a more meaningful way.
